crazee....sorry that happened to you, you're not alone, makes you wonder about the next guy you meet...Is he speaking lies, playing games, just in it for the moment? I will never understand how a guy can just disappear or give some lame excuse as to why it did'nt work out, especially since things were going so well and you made plans to meet. Maybe it's an ego trip to see how may women they can hook up with, in the mean time hearts get broken

Forget the "BK" notion. It's still internet dating/meeting friends. Way back when, during the earlier years of the internet, I met mostly great gals. One or two almost ended up being permanent. I also met lots of good friends -guys included. The best possible thing you can do to get the most out of this -someone said "posting helps". It does, whether you make enemies or friends (hopefully more of the latter). Just keep an open mind, be patient, considerate and understanding -remember, it's internet-based (or typed stuff which be read a great many ways) and try to meet people. Drop them a line if you feel the need to express yourself and don't be shy about it. Eventually you'll get some good hits and some blah ones. With time/persistence/luck, maybe even the right one will come along... You never know. I've been doing internet chatting for about 10 years now... and although it's a bit weirder every year (like just about everything in life - idiotic drivers, nonsensical laws, people who don't know the value in one bike versus another, etc.) I can say that this forum seems pretty cool so far for the hour or so I've been on it. Don't forget about meeting people in general -some things work better for certain people than others. This may or may not be right for you.

I talked with one gentleman for over a month before we met. He treated me like gold! I flew to meet him in his state. We had 4 glorius days together and it was the best time I had in years....we continued to chat by telephone and computer non stop for a month and poof he decided it was over. Make sure you really understand what the other is looking for before your heart gets taken and given back before you know it. Seems alot of people think they know what they want until it comes down to the nitty gritty...such a shame

As for the topic-I'm not real concerned about the dating aspect-it's all hit and miss I guess, but if this site means meeting more people with the common interest of riding-going somewhere-doing something, then anyone I meet through this is a potential friend. A potential friend can become a potential lover(if he's a man in my case) and so it goes.It's better than hanging out in bars. I think.Just another way to broaden my chances I guess.

Well, I'll answer the question. I avoided reading this thread, I didn't think romance was heading my way. I received a few winks, but wanted a sweetheart, pretty close, most winkers lived far away. THEN, I get a wink from a Jax Biker Boy! We emailed/chatted 4 a month, then had an official date, Sunday. We have a lot in common. Kids, who we work 4 & life thoughts. He's a Gentleman, all the way, so I could b a Lady. I kidded him, he was scared of me, cause he whisked me away, on his scooter, 2 his Brothers' house. So, he had "2 bodyguards & 3 guarddogs" to protect him! Lol. Had a wonderful dinner, laughed a lot, heard some crazy stories & thoroughly enjoyed myself. When we returned to his house, he wasn't Russian or Roman. Just a Classic Country Boy who has a Classic Country Ndn Girl 4 a Friend, now. & no I ain't gunna b whining back a'cha, I answered yer question.

I have had pretty good luck on bk,met one guy fell head over heals for him,he wasn;t ready ,so off we go again,i never was one to give up too easily.
