I love to ride. I don't care what the weather is. I live in TX now but when I lived near Hattiesburg, MS I rode 20 miles to work every single day I could. I try not to start out in the rain but if it starts while I'm riding, oh well so be it. The cold? If it is at least 40 degrees out, I'll ride. Bundle up, that's what they make all that leather and thermal wear for! Now, I've never ridden in the snow. That I don't have any desire to do. We only had a dusting once this last season here anyhow. Snow I think is crazy to ride in. You get enough maniacs out there without slipping and sliding! So what do ya'll think about riding in weather?

I hate to admit this, since it makes me sound like a complete wuss, but I have to admit I am pretty much a fair weather rider! Which sucks for me, since I live in Nebraska, and it gets friggin cold here! (Of course, it also gets pretty hot in the summer)
A lot of it I chalk up to inexperience. I haven't been riding for a real long time. And I don't go as often as I should. Which, of course, I usually chalk up to crappy weather!
Now, since you brought up the whole leather thing, I feel obligated to mention a great place for everyone to go to find riding season lengthening jackets, pants and chaps.
