You got that right!!!!! I had a 76 used San Diego cop chop. The cops who stopped me always asked what# it was. When I told them they ALWAYS said the guy who rode it took real good care of it.He always had the services done&, I always changed the oil to. When I redid the upper end the rods were well within the specs at nominal. I had it 21yrs. & the guy I sold it to redid the upper end @ about 91000 mi. he got the same #s I had. It's got over 100k mi. on it now.The lower end has never been split & it's a A.M.F. H.D. & if they didn't pump the bucks in we'd all be sport bikers now.
