Try the Bama Bike Fest July 14-17. I went last year and had a great time. Lots of fun people.

Their here but you need to broaden your area. There are a lot to do in Bama and meet a lot of people. Barber museum, 29 dreams and check the alabama ride site or just drop in at one of the gas stations on your bike and they will come.

I couldn't find 'em there either, so I moved to Texas!
I used to live in Fort Payne Al., now in Linden, Tx.!
