Real lucky you guys, here in the UK its law, mind you you never really know who is behind the lid, could be Burt Lancaster or Sting, ha ha ,Cher or a dragon,
HopeFloats write: There aren't many of those States left are there? I know where I live, in Maine, there isn't a helmet law ...yet, as long as you aren't a new rider. I don't believe there's a law in my neighboring State of New Hampshire, either. How many other States do NOT have a helmet law? Please tell me. illinois no helmet law
Phaedrus262 !!! If I turn the lights off I wont see where I am going? If I hang on to my own ponytail???s? Who???s going to be holding onto my handlebars? Hmmmmm You talk of gravity. Hopefully we will always keep rubber side down.
You cracked me up! Seriously though, I live in Arizona (no lids required)...I haven't found much headgear that doesn't fly off at high speeds, so I don't wear anything (on my head, that is). By the time we're done riding, I look like Bob Marley, but who cares? It's nothing a good detangler and a vent brush can't handle.
Michigan has a helmet law but it is in the process of being repealed. It has gone through the first 2 stages and is in the House of Representatives---a first for Michigan in 36 years.
Turn off the lights and no one will know you have helmut hair.
Put in a ponytail to provide an additional place to hang on to
Grow it long, ride the top and dangle it in his face, gravity will do the rest.
