You are right, Razar. Elvis was born in Tupelo (which is only 90 miles from Memphis) but moved to Memphis at an early age and called Memphis home. And this is where he was when he became famous.

In my hometown, President Warren G Harding was born there, and is buried there. Rod Serling, from the "Twighlight Zone" fame, was from there and TZ actually started out on our local radio station. Toby Harrah, who used to play for the Cleveland Indians, Jim Thorpe (Browns fame) , and Major league baseball umpire Larry Barnett (still out there calling balls and strikes, and is the senior umpire in the AL) are all from there. And I have heard that Huey Lewis lived there until he was around 7 or 8 yrs old, but I can't claim that to be 100% true as I've never found any concrete evidence on it. Oh, and we are also the popcorn capital of the world too. Huge popcorn festival there every year the weekend after Labor Day.
Popcorn capital huh? Kewl!
Fort Payne Alabama is the sock capital! Lot's of interesting facts about many places.

I went to high school with actress, Isabella Hoffman who is/was also married to actor Daniel Baldwin. She has been in many different movies & shows & one you might remember is Homicide which I believe Daniel Baldwin was also in that show. She hasn't made it back to any of our high school class reunions but at our 30th this last July she did send in info about herself so we could put it in our booklet.
