We had that protest problem a few months ago here in North Cheatham County, in Ashland City. People lined the streets for a long way to pay tribute to the fallen soldier.

While reading this topic.tear's came... as a mother of a sailor....who has been to sea to fight for all of us no matter what we believe in I find it so sad that these men and women would show such disrespect. Keep up the good work and if you ever need a helping hand with any thing........LET ME KNOW A PROUD MOTHER AND SUPPORTER OF ALL OUR MILITARY FORCE'S...GOD BLESS THEM ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice post. My son left today back to base, and ships to Iraq in 2 weeks. Soldiers deserve respect... whether serving, retired, or passed.

Glad you put that on the site!
I got the chance to meet a few of the "Guard" and they are great folks. I'm with BACA ( Bikers Against Child Abuse) There are a good many non - profit organizations out there that have wonderful causes and use the "biker" image to help others. The "brotherhood" is very strong within these organizations and we are truly dedicated and take our causes very seriously.

Way to go Dyna...you, of all people, know how strongly I feel about Veterans, active or non-active!

Gefallen, when you talk to your son, tell him he's added to an Angel's prayer list, please!!! Thank you for raising a fine man!

A crusty old Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event, hosted by
a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely
young, idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the
Sergeant Major for conversation.

She said, "Excuse me, Sergeant Major, but you seem to be a very
serious man. Is something bothering you?"

"Negative, ma'am," the Sergeant Major said, "Just serious by nature."

"The young lady looked at his awards and decorations and said, "It
looks like you have seen a lot of action."

The Sergeant Major's short reply was, "Yes, ma'am, a lot of action."

The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation,
said, "You know, you should lighten up a little. Relax and enjoy
yourself."

The Sergeant Major just stared at her in his serious manner.

Finally the young lady said, "You know, I hope you don't take this
the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?"

The Sergeant Major looked at her and replied, "1955."

She said, "Well, there you are. You really need to chill out and
quit taking everything so seriously! I mean, no sex since 1955!
She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded
to "relax" him several times.

Afterwards, and panting for breath, she leaned against his bare
chest and said, "Wow, you sure didn't forget much since 1955!"

The Sergeant Major, glancing at his watch, said in his matter-of-
fact voice, "I hope not, it's only 2130 now."

I LOVE THAT MILITARY TIME !!!!

May no soldier go unloved,
May no soldier walk alone,
May no soldier be forgotten,
Until they all come home

Thanks Dyna, I must have missed it. These guys are how I envision bikers and how I'd like to envision myself as well. They make me proud to be a biker.
